COLOR INSIDE THE LINES

Still-life images are often merely pictures of found objects in their “natural state”. However, deliberately staging a selection of things to suggest a period, a mood, or a theme can also be a fascinating process. Here, in a series of “tabletop tableaux”, the emphasis is also on ambient light from nearby side sources, and how its own patterns can add extra depth or texture to the compositions.
